In the South shore of the lake Chelenco it is located Chile Chico, a town which settlement is quite new in Patagonia as its first settlers arrived in 1905. Since that time lands began to be harmonically portioned, however in some other towns near Chile Chico, settlement began 20 to 30 years later. Some important facts in the history of Chile Chico were those occurred in 1918, known as “The war of Chile Chico”.

            Among the settlers of this territory can be named the grandparents of the members of this company, people who arrived plenty of dreams from the middle of Chile, Argentina and Europe.

            It was in these territories with more that 4.500 square kilometers where settlers built their homes. Nowadays this legate inherited from pioneers is being shared with visitors from all over the world. This land has just been occupied in its lower part, that means valleys and places near the lake, situations that continues till today. Its high  valleys, hills and glaciers are mostly unexplored. Nevertheless, today it is possible to get into them thanks to the help of the experimented guides.
