
All our tourist guides are graduated from the “Escuela de Guías de Patagonia”. Our tourist guides are highly qualified to give any kind of service. They have the ability to attend 40 tourists simultaneously in different trips during the high season, that goes from November to April. The activities are coordinated by the central office in Chile Chico, an office that is connected to the main service nets in the territory. It can also give a daily on line consulting and booking service.
All the guides have the licenses of regional guide, outdoor paramedic from Nools rescuers of first call and driving. They also have computing, pricing, elementary English,and swimming knowledge besides technics as “no deje rastro” (don’t leave a trace)
About the guides profiles it can be said that:
Juan is native of Río Leones and his major is horse-riding, glaciar trekking, fly fishing and sailing. Juan has experience in the territory of Río Leones. He also worked as a cowboy in the US for nine years, so now he can fluently talk to English speaking tourists. He has also worked as a horse-riding guide in Leones the last years.
Rut is native of Chile Chico. Her major is trekking, city tours, fly fishing and horse riding. Rut knows about the history of the region and Patagonia, she can handle groups very well as she worked in the Shehen Aike cabins in Puerto Ibañez.
Oscar is native of Paso las Llaves. His major is climbing, fly fishing, trekking, horse-riding, traditional and racional taming. Oscar also worked as a cowboy in the US for 4 years and can fluently speak in English. He knows the territory as he worked as a Park Ranger for 8 years. He has lately worked as a guide.
Ferdinando is native Mallín Grande. His major is trekking rafting, kayaking, climbing, glaciar trekking and river crossing. He has a vast experience in the Jeinimeni territory with expeditions on his own and with groups since 1990. He is native from Tronadores, today part of the reserve Jeinimeni. Ferdinando has knowledge of the region due to his participation in expeditions as part of the Raleigh International staff and his guiding services during the last seasons.
